UI / JavaScript Developer - OOP / HTML5 / CSS3 / AGILE - LondonMy client a world leader fashion retail organisation based in central London are looking for 2 UI Web Developers for their rapidly expanding Development team. This is an opportunity for a Frontend Developer to take your skills to an organisation at the leading edge of web-based technology looking for candidates with career aspirations to grow and develop their own team.
My client's world renowned retail prowess is has lead them significantly investing in their Online presence to give them the platform to increase their market share and ultimately reach more customers.
The successful Frontend Developer will join an agile team of cross-disciplined developers, testers, and UX designers.
The successful candidate will be building next generation web applications using Object Oriented JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. They will have strong web development skills and be familiar with agile development practices.
Experience of other CMS systems like Umbraco and back-end development experience with ASP.Net would be an advantage.
As a Web Developer in the Professional Services team you will be:
- Creating rich user interfaces for critical retail websites and applications
- Working with cutting edge HTML5, CSS3, Object Orientated JavaScript and JQuery
- Engaging with key internal stakeholders to identify key design elements of the UI
- Providing, support
- Working with experienced, like-minded colleagues in a relaxed and friendly environment
Essential Skills
- HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Familiar with Agile development approaches e.g. (Scrum XP, Kanban, Lean, Adaptive)
- A team player and enjoy liaising closely with other developers and test engineers
- Proactive and capable of self-prioritizing and managing a task backlog
- Detail oriented
These skills will be tested during the interview process.
*** There are 2 roles with client one Senior £60-65K and one Mid Level £35-40K***
