Description

Plans and implements activities related to the material planning, material control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving and stores functions. Develops, plans, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, service and engineering. Responsible for the generation of plans and requirements for purchasing materials. Responsible for the maintenance of the material control system. Interfaces with Order Administration to establish and maintain finished good SKUs and high-level product structures.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead corporate Sales and Operations Planning meeting
  • Maintain master schedule
  • Improve operations material flow
  • Develop, lead, and/or participate in key corporate processes including excess and obsolescence, product life cycle investments, and new product rollout


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in the Medical or other related industry
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the Medical industry related to materials management
  • Knowledge in and thorough understanding of applicable QSR and ISO 13485 regulations
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • Experience using and implementing ERP and kanban material control systems is required
