Infrastructure Project Manager required for high profile company in West Dublin

Role Overview
The Infrastructure project Manager is to manage a range of infrastructure projects as part of a business transformation programme within a multinational business. The role includes delivery of the infrastructure components on a number of programmes including SAP, as well as delivery on core infrastructure foundation projects.

Application migration to corporate datacentre
Migrating data from Legacy storage devices
Server consolidation using virtualisation
Migrating to new versions of IT Infrastructure components
Establish reporting for Service Level Agreements
Executing tests for IT and Business to prove the IT Infrastructure
Support the implementation of the corporate service desk
Ensure the correct handover from project to steady state within the team.
Disaster Recovery testing
Managing suppliers and sub-contractors

At least 8 years managing IT Infrastructure projects
Data Centre Build experience is desirable.
Hold a Formal Project Management Certification
Strong awareness of ITIL processes.
Experience in managing to service level agreements in a multi-national environment.
Solid appreciation of cross IT infrastructure platforms.
Strong knowledge in datacenters, virtualisation, server migration.
Third-Level IT qualification or equivalent experience
Demonstrable ability to work closely as part of a team and to guide/mentor other team members
Strong problem solving skills
