Service Desk Support

Service Desk Support Analyst,
Dublin City Centre/Dublin South,
Daily rate contract Dependent on experience.

The role:
Our client, a large multinational IT consultancy company are currently seeking an experienced first level service desk support analyst to join their operations in North Dublin. This is a 3-6 month contract, and is paid on a daily rate basis.

The fundamental duty of this position is to respond to escalations from first level supports including addressing technical desktop issues, services outages and backup files in an efficient and timely manner. The implementation of systems according to the agreed processes and standards in place already is key.

The candidate:
The successful candidate should have a strong solutions background in both technical support and technical administration, experience of supporting technical incidents on Windows environments and should have a sufficient level of IT knowledge to share their technical knowledge with less experienced support staff.

Experience:
Software - Microsoft Win2k/XP, Office , Sharepoint , Lotus Notes, Mobile Technologies, Anti Virus.
Hardware - Desktops, Laptop and Printer.
Previous experience of Technical Support an advantage.
