My client a top QLD employer is looking for a number of Solution architects to join their team on a long term contract basis.
The successful candidate will lead the development of end to end solution architecture for ICT systems for one of the following areas:
- Security Architecture, information security planning, service confidentiality levels and emergency record access
- Information modelling, system terminology definition and data translation, business intelligence, reporting, data warehousing using Cerner product suite and info-structure and reference data management
- Integration Applications within an integrated electronic record program (IERP) using the 'mpages' product suite, integration technologies, mobility and remote access solutions.
- 2 roles are for commencing solution architecture guidance to the IERP release 2 activities focusing on Information.
Other tasks may include:
- Assist in the development and review of Business and Operational Plans that link with Departmental and branch outcomes
- Contribute to the effective management of the organisation by adhering to relevant financial management practices, quality management practices (ISO:9001) and public administration policies (related to Right to Information, Judicial Review etc).
To be successful in the role requires
- Proven expertise leading the development of solution architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with and traceability across specified requirements within enterprise architecture and governance frameworks for a geographically dispersed ICT environment
- Ability to critically assess associated risks and issues, ensuring that the solution architecture balances function, service, quality and system management requirements
- Ability to ensure the use of solution architecture techniques, methodologies and tools enabling consistency across all user groups
- Having excellent communications, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
