Description
Key responsibilities:
- Be a key team member responsible for providing support to the networking team
- Maintain network infrastructure to meet agreed SLA commitments with the business regarding systems;
- Respond as required to Network Incidents for all IT&T supported systems
- Resolving client technical support issues
- Provide 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting and Incident resolution for the following (but not limited to)
- WANs and Internet connectivity across internal and telco infrastructure
- Routers/Switching infrastructure
- Firewalls
- Related software
- Maintain and respond to proactive monitoring systems
- Prepare reports for team leader as required
- Resolve system support issues;
- Willingness to be available for support after hours, as required
- Other duties as required
Key requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant experience;
- HP networking certification ie. HP-ASE or Cisco certification ie. CCNA
- Experience supporting a network environment with aggressive SLAs;
- Experience with high availability technology, especially clustering and load balancing
