Key responsibilities:
- Development of high quality IT solutions within an agile environment
- Engage proactively with stakeholders and other team members in the development of IT solutions
- To strive for continuous personal improvement in both technical and business areas
- Provision of regular feedback, mentoring, coaching and assistance to the team's development needs
- To assist with the development of new team standards, methodologies and processes to increase both the quality and efficiency of the development work
Key requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong experience with the following technologies:
- Winforms, .NET 2.0, 3.5, WCF
- SQL Server 2008
- C#
- Smart Clients
- MS Provider Models (desirable)
- TFS, MSBuild, MSTest (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Design patterns
- An appreciation of both the IT and business strategy
- A good understanding and experience with agile methodologies
- Good interface and development skills
- Exceptional analytical skills in order to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and provide constructive input into the development and technologies solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective inter-departmental and organisational relationships
- Sound organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong team spirit
