Our client is a high profile Government Agency located in Canberra. They are currently looking to fill a key position within their ICT team. The department is looking for a Network Infrastructure Specialist who will design, develop and install systems using network infrastructure.

The successful candidate's primary duties will include the development and installation of the below technologies:
  • Cisco network infrastructure, using LAN/WAN routing and switching
  • Network monitoring and management tools for use in availability and capacity planning roles.
  • Network security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion prevention and network access control;
  • Telecommunications services, such as Frame Relay, ATM, IP, ISDN and Dark Fibre
To be a successful in this role you must have extensive knowledge of network communications infrastructure development using:
  • Cisco Unified Communications for VoIP, Voicemail and Video Teleconferencing
  • Cisco network infrastructure for LAN/WAN routing and switching;
  • Network security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion prevention and network access control
  • Network monitoring and management tools for use in availability and capacity planning roles
