6 month plus contract for a Configuration analyst to work on Smart Grid project.

Duties include:

Analyze product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determine and prepare documentation necessary for change. Coordinate with the Business Liaison Manager, internal customers and manufacturers for change reporting. Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.

Requires at least a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Responsible for developing/managing the Demand Response (DR) Work Product Management plan, Configuration Plan and incorporating source control, release management, and version control for all DR projects. Work with multiple vendors, Architecture Leads and NGDR Team Leads to coordinate multiple releases based on planned testing and release cycles (ie AMI/ODS, Awareness, Load Management System, and the second phase of Load Management System). This position is Senior Level with a strong IT&T background. Must be familiar with industry best practices and preferred if they had HPQC experience

Local Candidates preferred. Must be able to work W-2 hourly. Please NO 3rd parties, we are not able to work Corp. to Corp. W-2 only.
