An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Risk Project Manager. Responsible for working with the Front Office and Technology teams the Project Manager will help implement new projects within the region for one of the world's best known investment banks.

Based in the centre of the financial district in Singapore, you will have an opportunity to work with a number of top industry professionals across business and technical disciplines. This role will enable you to utilize your extensive domain knowledge across Credit and Market Risk initiatives and could be the platform to career growth in 2013.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engagement with the risk business in the region across Market and Credit risk areas as well as global stakeholders wherever required
  • Keeping an active inventory of the change requests
  • Prioritization of tasks to meet business stakeholder requirements
  • Engaging with other regional IT teams and participating in related working groups across regional projects and New Product/Systems Rollouts to agree on the requirements, timelines and costs
  • Facilitating delivery through global/regional teams which includes prioritization, development and testing, environment allocation and support for running tests
  • Ongoing communications to the key stakeholders
  • Team management; provide leadership and guidance to the team throughout the life cycle of the project

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in financial services sector in the capacity as a project manager preferably in the market/credit risk space.
  • Must have experience in managing delivery involving FO and risk systems.
  • Must have managed end to end project delivery in a business critical environment using structured project management methods.
  • Must have experience of working with globally spread user base and global technology teams
  • Clear and precise verbal and written communication
  • Experience in hiring talent and driving training and ramp up on systems knowledge.

A tertiary qualification and a proven track record in the investment banking domain are highly advantageous.
