My engineering client are now looking for an experienced C# Developer ideally with an engineering background to work within my clients Research and Development department. The role will require you as the successful C#/WPF Developer to design, implement and support a data analysis tool for use within the global oil and gas industry.Your Responsibilities;
To design, develop, test and support software to automate data processing, visualisation and report generation using the latest Microsoft .NET technology (C#, WPF).
To design and implement creative graphical user interfaces using Visual Studio (WinForms and WPF).
To liaise directly with end users to ensure the design and development of software that satisfies customers' technical requirements.
To write technical documentation including design specifications and user manuals.
Your Expertise;
Demonstrable experience writing C# code
Experience developing graphical user interfaces using WinForms and WPF.
Experience with Microsoft Office programming to import/export data to/from Excel and Word documents using Excel Interop
Understanding of multi-threaded applications and the use of data visualisation/charting controls
Analytic, mathematical and problem solving skills are essential
Interpersonal skills to communicate and develop working relationships with colleagues and end customers.
You must have an interest in leading-edge software technology and be able to demonstrate strong coding skills.
