Main Job Function:

To support the Compensation Team, HR Advisors and Global Mobility colleagues with policy interpretation, annual compensation cycles and day to day query resolution

This position will involve the day to day monitoring of team performance (Key Performance Indicators - KPIs - and key point of escalation for vendors) and the review of procedures, vendor management of application service providers.

Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Managing day to day relationships with key stakeholders including service review.
  • Compliance with Group Audit requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to statutory legislation including HMRC year-end procedures.
  • To co-ordinate and supervise completion of all UK statutory year-end requirements including P35 and P11d reporting.
  • To ensure full adherence to the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and standards.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the International Compensation Standards & Benchmarking Manager.
  • To adhere strictly to current procedures and policies, actively reviewing and amending where applicable.
  • To supervise the vendor on a daily basis (KPI monitoring and key escalation for vendors).
  • To manage day to day relationships with key stakeholders including monthly Service Review.
  • To provide advice and undertaking research on salary related matters as required.
  • To take part in projects as assigned by the International Compensation & Benefits Manager.
  • To assist for creating and develope complex reports and analysis to support compensation projects
  • To assist with the annual compensation review process.
  • To support in compiling salary proposals for new and reassigned candidates.


Candidate Specifications:
  • Relevant degree qualification preferred
  • Considerable work experience in Compensation and Benefits
  • Up-to-date knowledge ofUKtax and social security legislation.
  • Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry or related industry.
  • Awareness and appreciation of multi-cultural organisations and work groups.
    • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • To communicate with senior professionals.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality when dealing with all HR, payroll and benefit issues.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. A pro-active and logical approach are pre-requisites for this role.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Able to pull information from different sources to consolidate into one source
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel, an interest in working with multiple software and databases
  • Candidates must be fleunt in English and another language is preferred but not essential
