Role: Computer Scheduler

Location: Columbia, SC

Duration: 12+months

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct oversight and team lead responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the Client- I/S Host Scheduling Team including Automated Scheduler Assignments, Quality Control, and Documentation Control.

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:

  • Automated Scheduler such as Zeke, Tivoli, or CA-7 experience.
  • Mainframe Data Center support experience.
  • Familiar with working in a ISO 9001:2008 registered environment.

WORKING HOURS/CONDITIONS:

  • Could be engaged 24 x 7 x 365 if Data Center Operations or its customers have Scheduling issues.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead scheduling activities to resolve problems including all change management issues.
  • Maintain production and test scheduling systems availability for multiple internal & external customers.
  • Lead scheduling operation teams in and outside the data center.
  • Work with internal and external IT groups to ensure service objectives are developed and achieved.
  • Ensure job steam content is operational so production systems online response time is sufficient to meet operational needs.
  • Attend walkthroughs.
  • Identify, collect, and report quality stats IAW ISO 9001:2008.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • IT experience Required 2 years
  • Experience in Scheduling or I/S Operations Required 5 years

  • ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System) Desired 1 year
  • Automated Scheduler such as Zeke, Tivoli, or CA-7 Required
  • Zeke Highly Desired 1 year
