Description
Mission/Core purpose of the Job:
A renowned telecoms organization is seeking an experienced IN specialist to ensure 100% availability of all IN nodes. You will be involved in the development and testing of new marketing services by incorporating all available technology.
You will have an excellent knowledge of Ericsson TSP platforms and an excellent understanding of Ericsson Charging System Solution, You must have experience with the CIP/IP and GY for this role.
Role Complexity:
- Interface with IS, NWG and 3rd Party vendors to ensure end to end system performance
- Liaise with the Planning and Marketing team to reconcile data on Charging/IN nodes to determine network performance and new service performance
- Lease with Planning, IS and other internal departments to ensure smooth transfer of statistics and CDRs
- Lease with Planning to ensure proper planning of network expansion and new node acquisitions
- Ensure the usage of internal skills to integrate new nodes into the network
Task Complexity:
- System commissioning and expansion of all IN platforms
- Mentor IN Engineers
- Ensure integration of all new network elements onto the IN Platforms
- Ensure optimization of system logs on all IN nodes
- Perform the necessary changes in systems configuration to optimize system performance
- Perform software update on all IN nodes
- Optimize and automate preventive/routine maintenance on IN nodes
- Investigate and identify reasons for abnormal network conditions related to IN nodes
- Perform corrective actions to faults on the IN nodes
- Monitor the status and performance of network elements interfacing with the IN nodes
- Develop and maintain tools, applications and scripts to increase the effectiveness of the IN nodes
- Provide Back End and Front End support to IN users
- Interface with vendors on projects and support issues
Requirements:
- Expert level Experience in Ericsson TSP platforms
- Expert Level Experience in Ericsson Charging Solution and related nodes including CIP/IP and GY
