My client a global pharmaceutical organisation requires a Project Manager who has extensive experience working in an API pharmaceutical environment and managing capital projects above £10m. The role of the Project Manager will be to manager and oversee the activities that are currently taking place on site involving a transfer from one building to another.

Job Description:
*Project Management - To manage the specific project relating to the refurbishment of the site.
*Quality/Compliance - To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations/national legal requirements, including completion of all GMP commitments to plan
*People Management - To operate in a Matrix organisation, driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that the project is delivered.
*Continuous Improvement - To explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.

Minimum Requirements:
*Degree in Engineering
*Significant period of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical sector within an API manufacturing environment.
*Strong GMP background
*Experienced practitioner of good project management practices.
*The job-holder must be a highly self-motivated and energised individual with strong drive and reputation for on time delivery, able to present complex material in a succinct manner appropriate to support prompt decision making.
