Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Type: 3-6 month contract
Location: Tucker, GA

Synergis has an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist for one of our clients in Tucker, GA. This is initially a 3-6 month contract position with the potential to go full time.

The IT Support Specialist will assist users or field technicians who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services. This role will also maintain adequate communications with Supervisor and advises of any problems or issues relating to assigned duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1-2 level IT support
  • Acts as lead for front line support interface by accepting incoming email or phone requests from users
  • Record required user and problem information in the appropriate ticketing system
  • Establish the priority of problems and requests to meet the SLO
  • Determine the most effective manner to resolve the customer's problem
  • Escalate higher-level problems to the IT Services Engineer
  • Monitor systems and network status
  • Work with users to troubleshoot, determine & resolve first and second-level problems
  • Install and configure customer approved and licensed software
  • Provide minimal training
  • Comprehensive use of Kaseya Ticketing to track customer request
  • Provide resolution of calls to meet SLO
  • Responsible for timely acknowledgement of tickets
  • Keeps work log updated

Skills & Requirements:

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years technical support experience required
  • MCSE 2003 or greater, MCITP, other industry certifications
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in a Managed Services Provider
