Our Client, a renowned broadcaster and digital media provider, requires a Service Designer to take up an initial 3 month contract based in Osterley, West London. Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Service Designer who has excellent design thinking, communication and consultancy skills. The successful applicant will be expected to support multiple projects on a day-to-day basis and must be able to demonstrate experience in all the core service design skills: conducting and synthesising research, customer journey mapping, service ideation, concept communication and specification. Applicants but been enthusiastic and passionate about enhancing service and the customer journey.
You will be a Service Designer with a background in UX, industrial design, communications or innovation. Applicants must have demonstrable experience in service design, working on projects for global, commercial-sector clients.
You should be able to support all aspects of the service design process; helping to plan, prepare for and synthesise research and co-creations sessions, construct and populate customer journey maps of current and ideal experiences. Applicants must have strong communication skills and also be able to help prototype and bring concepts to life. The work relates to reviewing the existing customer journey for all of our Client's products and services, from start to finish, and then from a customer perspective, looking to see where improvements or efficiencies can be made to the customer journey. This will involve workshops and focus groups on the customer side, as well as stakeholder management and presenting on the client side. Applicants must have experience of workflows, user experience (UX), and PowerPoint as well as other common documentation software.
This is a contract vacancy for 3 months initially, with a daily rate of pay between £400.00 and £450.00 per day.
