SLS Engineer - Netherlands
An URGENT requirement has arisen to work as a SLS maintenance engineer to work for a leading telecoms company based in the Netherlands. As a SLS maintenance engineer you will be responsible for the execution of preventative maintenance tasks within the network of different customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out works remotely at antenna sites
* Fault services (24/7 standby)
* All tasks are in a multi customer and multi vendor environment.
You will have experience within the following areas:
1. Network mutations
Built acceptance, configure, optimisation, testing and accept of new network elements, within the applicable design frameworks and according to the current change management procedures in order to implement new network share with the least possible disruption of network availability
2. Technical advice
Gives asked and unasked advice and information to stakeholders to support well considered decisions about maintenance and investments.
3. Administration and cost control
Updating customer administration systems, work instructions and transfer documents, in accordance with established procedures and documentation resources, in order to correct and up-to-date the documentation to ensure necessary activities for the execution of the PLAN, BUILD & RUN activities.
4. Product improvement
Participation in various projects with Field Operations interface has, with the added value: Unique Operational Knowledge Network plus detailed operational configuration customer network knowledge. Field engineers are (partly) responsible for planning and preparation of sub projects. Field engineers contribute to projects in areas of: project knowledge, technical and system configuration knowledge, local resources in implementing projects, tracking and project configuration administration
5. Troubleshooting
Solving problems/bottlenecks and make suggestions for improvement in line with internal and external guidelines, to achieve an optimal improvement of the network.
The successful candidate will have the following essential knowledge:
At least MTS work and thinking level.
Technical knowledge electro and telecoms technique
IT experience within telecoms
Little knowledge of ARBO
Some years of experience within own task area
On remote makes the appropriate IT activities to make sure that the site gets on air.
On remote, Commissioning sites
Owns a wide overview and insight of tasks and is able to delegate this.
Spreads information within the department.
Shows clear leadership within the team.
Shows strong knowledge of the subject.
The ability to speak some Dutch is essential for this role.
