The Client Requiring the Microsoft Engineer:
My client, a leading asset management company based in California, currently has a requirement for an experienced Microsoft Engineer to join their growing team. The Microsoft Engineer will administer Microsoft based systems, networks and storage. As the lead Microsoft Engineer you will be involved every aspect of the project, not only being a hands-on position, but also adopting a senior position within the team.
The Role for the Microsoft Engineer:
This role will require the Microsoft Engineer to provide network support for Windows and SQL based systems. There is a responsibility for the Microsoft Engineer to produce, run QA, develop and run recovery environments.
Key Skills for the Microsoft Engineer:
- Windows 2003, R2 experience
- Strong Microsoft Engineer experience
- Strong NetApp experience in multiple environments
- Strong commercial experience of Microsoft networking concepts and Back Office products
- Project management experience
- Microsoft SQL 2008 experience
- Degree educated
- Microsoft MCSE certification
- Experience with Citrix and VMWare
