Description
Infrastructure Architect urgently required at System Dynamics to join our client team in Dublin city centre for a 12 month contract.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience
- 6 years of design, and implementation experience in infrastructure technology solutions
Experience (4 years minimum) with the following is required:
o Expert level technical knowledge of Notes/Citrix and virtualisation products and the strategic direction of networking technologies
o Expert technical knowledge of routing and switching platforms required in a high density virtual environment
o Experience in designing and implementing high availability data centre environments
o In-depth experience with IP routing protocols
o Design experience with new network topologies as needed, incorporating best practices around WAN/LAN, mobility, switching, routing, security and convergence
- Relevant experience with at least 6 years in the planning, design, implementation/deployment and operational transition of solutions in LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Centre networking.
- Familiarity with IP and MPLS networking
- Knowledge and/or configuration of load balancing products, WAN acceleration products, or SSL/VPN; specific knowledge and/or configuration of Citrix products including NetScaler, WANScaler, and Access Gateway solutions a plus
- Strong customer interface skills to gather solution requirements and translate into hardware architecture and services proposals
- Strong leadership abilities and consultative skills to architect, design, and implement solutions
- Able to deliver projects with minimal oversight and direction
