A leading software division of an multinational oil and gas organisation is looking for a software developer for their office in Banchory for a minimum of 6 month contract. The main focus of the role is to help develop and enhance their 2 products they are currently producing for use in the oil and gas industry.The software part of the company was set up to support the expanding oil and gas division and these products help support up to 500 of their clients across the globe.

The right person will be analytical, have a passion for programming, be logical and pay particular attention to detail.
They must be willing and enthusiastic to learn new technologies as well as happy to share their wealth of knowledge with others. An aptitude to brainstorming and working with others to bring new ideas to the table is greatly desired.
Technologies they are looking for include .net, C# or VB, Java, SQL database.
Being applications based in Winforms or WPF is desirable and exposure to VB6 or Delphi is advantageous.
Knowledge of software design and architecture design would also be desired.
