We are currently looking for seeking dependable candidates with great customer service skills who are interested in expanding their technical knowledge to join our Helpdesk Team. Our client is a Fortune 500 company that is currently looking for a Helpdesk Agent for a long-term contract opportunity.

Position: Helpdesk Agent

Location: Mason, OH

Duration: Long-term Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (other shifts are also an option)

Job Description:

  • Associates will be expected to handle high call volume related to security requests (account unlocks/password resets
  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves a limited degree of technical problems.
  • Responds to telephone calls for technical support.
  • Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Requirements:

  • Some degree of technical experience is required and familiarity with Active Directory is a plus.
  • Requires 1-2 years of customer service/technical support experience in a high volume call center environment.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system
  • Knowledge of IT helpdesk environments
  • Helpdesk work experience
  • Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook preferred
  • Basic troubleshooting of SW and HW
  • Tech savvy!

Additional information:

This positions will be contract to hire. Opportunity for additional growth is available All candidates will need to go through a semi-technical phone screen with a heavy emphasis on customer service.

Background Check Requirements:

All candidate selections are contingent upon successfully passing both background and drug screening.

  • Background check requirements: 7 year criminal background
  • Drug Screening: 5 Panel drug screen
  • Additional screens including: Credit Check, Federal, Education, and/or Employment verification may be required upon request of end client.
