Description
The candidate must have the following skills:* Significant knowledge of the J2EE development platform
* Experienced in working within the Agile/ Scrum methodology
* Strong Core Java including Concurrency + Networking
* Sound multi-tier, multi-threaded, real time messaging and application architecture and development using JAVA technology.
* Object oriented design and methodologies.
* Solid RDBMS/Sql experience
* Tomcat, Spring MVC, J2EE (Servlet, Applet, JSP) , HTML, Javascript
* Excellent communications skill, at both a technical and non-technical level.
* Excellent investigation and problem solving skills.
* Self Starter.
* Works well within a team or individually.
Desirable skills:
- Swing
- Ajax, jQuery, Push Technologies, Web Services.
- Enterprisearchitectural models including familiarity and application of patterns.
- Experience of developing software for the mobile platform.
- Experience of Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins or similar tools/environments.
- JMeter or other performance analysis tools.
- Experience or knowledge of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
Rate: £300-£400
Location: South London- Surrey
Duration: 6 Months+
Previous experience in the financial sector would be beneficial.
