Description
Requirements:Min. 5 years UK experience + final signatory capability (Medic or UK Pharmacist)
Role:
Reporting to the Director of Regulatory and Medical Affairs, leading the Medical Information and Drug Safety teams
Ensuring the business remains in constant compliance with all regulations, both local and international, promotional codes and pharmacovigilance requirements
Responsibilities will include:
Managing all activities related to the implementation of Medical and drug safety (UK and Ireland) strategies
To Provide medical support and scientific expertise to internal and external customers in a business orientated way and to ensure Marketing and Sales activities are grounded in good medical science
Liaising with external partners, contractors, professional bodies and addressing medical and scientific questions from healthcare professionals, third parties, and patients and ensuring that medical and safety issues are properly managed and resolved.
Reviewing and formulating department policies, guidelines and procedures, reviewing regulatory texts and advertising copy for medical content.
Developing and maintaining a network of KOLs for the respective drug category (Analgesics, Upper Respiratory, Tract, GI Tract, etc.)
Managing all Pharmacovigilance activities for all company drugs within UK, ensuring on-going product safety compliance of existing product portfolio
Ensuring that drug safety is a positive asset for the Company in marketing our products successfully, and training the Sales Force for corresponding alertness.
