Role: OpenVMS Consultant
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Skills & Description:
- Should have Experience of Implementation of large Multi-node, Multi-site, Business Critical OpenVMS Clusters, upgrading from VAX to Alpha and later to Integrity.
- Should have minimum 5+ years of IT experience.
- To Provide OpenVMS support to many application groups and supported fault analysis and correction as well as relevant upgrades.
- Developed & implemented fault monitoring, information collection and many other bespoke mechanisms and utilities.
- Hands on experience in system programming of OpenVMS
- Development experience in VAX/Alpha VMS environment
- Experience in VMS Basic or AIMS programming language skills
- Provide high quality day-to-day support for OpenVMS and respond to automated alerts, in keeping with the goal to support business requirements and deliver a highly reliable, performance-optimized production environment.
- Work directly with OpenVMS and Linux system support teams in support of the OpenVMS and Linux systems.
