Description
1 year contract in Cincinnati OH for a .NET developer with SQL Server, SSL. Candidate will be a team member of the Trading and Marketing Application Support team, which is charged with supporting, enhancing, and developing systems to support the Trading and Retail businesses. Chief applications are CommoditiesXL, Revenue Manager, DERS websites, and SSIS/DTS data integration apps.
Duties include production monitoring, production break/fix (both application and data related), daily customer interaction with traders (et al), and development of enhancements ranging from small to medium-scale.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, Management or related discipline 6+ years experience with application development and support work, including some occasional night and weekend support duties Experience with all facets of the application solution delivery life cycle management, including requirements definition, design, development, and testing phases.
3+ years experience in C#, ASP.NET, Excel VBA, MSRS, MSSQL job scheduling (DTS and SSIS) application support environment, and with Oracle database. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous working knowledge of Trading and Retail Electricity business functions from an IT perspective, and/or strong desire to learn these business functions Familiarity ETL or informatica is a plus.
