A global information technology company seek an experienced Veritas Specialist to join their team in Brussels, Belgium.
Applicants must be eligible to work in Belgium.
Essential skills required for the Veritas Specialist:
- Installation of VERITAS Volume Manager in Unix environment
- Configuring the volume manager and bringing the drives into VXVM Control
- Creating and Administering Volume Manager Objects
- Working with disk groups (importing and deporting)
- Creating the volumes and creating the file systems (UFS and VXFS)
- Increasing/decreasing Volumes and file system size (UFS and VXFS)
- Implementing RAID 0, 1 and 0+1, 5 levels using VERITAS Volume Manager
- Analyzing and monitoring the performance of volumes
- Encapsulating and mirroring the root disk
- Converting LVM file system to VXVM
- To destroy/rename/deport/import disk group
- Removing File system & Free Up Luns
- Recovering the file system
