On a daily basis your role will see you:
- Be responsible for creating attractive web application and portal designs that effectively communicate to the customer key messages, and drive them logically through each Business Process.
- Develop a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application design requirements.
- Need to ensure best practice in regards to design, usability & web standards.
- Communicate technical design specifications in a clear and concise manner to the wider business.
- Proactively recommend best practice UX design and take up within the business.
- Good Front End development experience (.Net/Web forms/Javascript/AJAX/JQuery etc.)
- Knowledge of Web Application development including responsive design, jquery mobile etc.
- Either iOS/Android App development experience is essential
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design
- Good understanding of SOA
- Ability to work under pressure and tight time-frames
- Solid experience in a large and complex commercial environment essential
- Solid understanding of SDLC, and experience working with Agile methodologies
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
In return my client offers an excellent daily rate. There is the strong possibility that the role will be extended for a further 6 months
