Senior Java Developer- Central London- 12 Months- £320-£400My client is based in the heart of London and are a fast emerging international technology business, with a high profile client base in the Media and Retail Sector.
They are looking for a Lead Java Developer, who will be responsible for the design and development of new functionality/ Java components on the existing platform. This will also involve testing, debugging and defect reporting.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Min 7 years experience in JAVA
- Core Java- JDK 1.5- JDK 1.6
- Exp. of MAVEN, Eclipse, or similar tools/ environments
- Exp. with Spring Framework
- Hibernate, JAX- WS
- Working on RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSD and XSLT
- Extensive and proven knowledge of Web Services
- Proven knowledge of test methodologies and processes used in quality assurance of Web Applications
- Unit Test tool frameworks (Junit, JMock)
- Strong understanding *nix Commands
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of testing processes and tools including HUDSON
- Version control e.g. SVN, GIT
- strong skills in test planning, debugging and defect reporting
- Web services and web applications testing experience
- Experience with Test automation tools and automated test development experience including manual testing
- Design, document and execute functional, load and regression tests
Rate: £320- £400
