Our client is a leading organization with a specialist focus specialising in Performance Optimization, Automated Integration and Delivery of bespoke Enterprise Software Solutions. They have a best in class mentality when it comes to sourcing talent and work with prominent Financial Services organizations on complex and intriguing projects.
With a range of household names as clients and an ever increasing pipeline of work, they require the services of a Senior Analyst Programmer with a proven track record designing and developing both Standard and Enterprise Edition based solutions.
As a member of a core group of experts, you will be responsible for the development, build and deployment aspects of major cash management related projects across the firms banking clients.
You will also act as the face of the firm by regularly liaising with the client stakeholders and interacting with environment and development teams to ensure the smooth deployment of applications across multiple platforms and large/distributed environments.
You will be tasked with developing eloquent code, preparing unit test plans leveraging manual or automated test approaches, resolving defects, reporting and participating in quality activities.
You will have an excellent understanding of all aspect within the SDLC and be comfortable working in heterogeneous environments.
A solid background in high-performance/concurrent systems development is required as is a passion for emerging technologies. Candidates that have recently undertaken Mobile development (IOS/Android) projects recently will be of particular interest.
Requirements of the role:
- A solid Application Development/Integration background across Java stack.
- Extensive experience with both J2SE and J2EE (Essential).
- Scripting skills with any/all: Ant, Hudson, Ruby, Ivy, Python, Groovy, Java.
- Experience with SCM - Software Configuration Management tools: Git, Clearcase, SVN.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client facing/stakeholder management skills.
- Experience writing and deploying code on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Experience in and a passion for; HTML5, iOS development (Objective-C) and Android development.
