Description
Senior Flex Developer - 6-12 Months - Central LondonSenior Flex Developer required immediately for an international, fast growing technology business in the media and retail sector.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years experience in Flex
- 2+ years of experience in overseeing a small team of developers
- Track record of delivering of delivering commercial applications within a corporate environment
- Plan, design, build, test and maintain high quality software using an agile/scrum methodology
- To work as part of a small development team assisting in testing, development, and design in other projects where required
- Conduct advanced and complex engineering tasks
- Evaluate products & technologies, makes recommendations and presents reports
- Work with customers and partners to deploy and utilise our products
- Maintain technical competency in all aspects of our technology & market
Technology Skills Requirement:
- Flex SDK 3.5 /SDK4, Actionscript 3
- Flash CS4, Flash Builder 4/FDT
- Experience with integrating existing Java web-based APIs with flex components
- Experience with writing database queries and basic exposure to Linux commands
- Experience with MAVEN
- Experience with Spring framework, Hibernate, JAX-WS
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSD and XSLT
- Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, Oracle etc.)
- Good understanding of *nix Commands
- Knowledge of test methodologies and processes used in quality assurance of web applications
- Extensive knowledge of Web Services Security
- Good experience with HTML5 / Java preferred.
- Extensive experience of working with market leading video players is essential
