Marketing Operations Analyst, EMEA - London - 4 month contract- £p/d DOE

Basic purpose of role
This is a new role in the newly created Marketing Operations function. The purpose of this position is to support a specific business improvement project focusing on demand generation for the EMEA region. The role uses internal data to provide strategic insight and recommendations to help shape the project and provide recommendations for short to medium term actions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Main central support for Marketo database:
- Maintains the data governance within the application
- Creates standard and ad-hoc reports for internal customers
- Working with the Global and country teams, create a roadmap and best practice methodology for maintenance and development of the database

Data governance
- Reporting: collection, analysis and communication of marketing (pipeline and leads), finance (bookings) and sales (win/loss/churn) information relevant to the vertical and country
- Management: auditing, normalization and continual data quality improvement
- Segmentation: vertical and country list maintenance

Supports the project manager to build a project plan and track on a regular basis, with specific focus on the following:
- Detailed project plan
- Supports cross functional meetings and maintains minutes and actions
- Executive overview

Competencies
An accomplished and result driven individual with proven experience in marketing insight and analytics within medium to large B2B organisations covering market intelligence, marketing effectiveness and data analysis.
- Excellent commercial skills with the ability to understand complex industries
- Experience in creating functions and teams to deliver insights and recommendations to senior management to inform and drive change.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- An exceptional project manager with strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Access
- Ability to quickly assess, understand data from different sources and construct relevant meaningful MI
- Experience in working in a cross-functional team environment, often at a global level
- Ability to quickly assess process efficiency through data and insight; will be experienced at recommending and/or delivering changes which will add value ensure return on investment
- The candidate should be a problem solver, with lots of initiative who can take full control for the maintenance and acquisition of data and "own their own projects".
- An understanding of Marketo and/or Sales Force systems would be ideal

Qualifications
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- A minimum of 3 years working in a commercial/data marketing environment
- Strong analytical skills, must be proficient in analysing and interpreting data (minimum Advanced Excel and Access (latest versions)
- Degree educated with further qualifications in strategic marketing
- Strong project management skills
