Citrix Engineer - Xenapp - Up to £300 per day - Truro, Conwall
My client is looking for an experienced customer focused Citrix technician/engineer to help deliver a major Citrix upgrade project for a large enterprise in Truro.
The successful candidate will be required to;
- Assist in the review of the applications that are currently delivered by the two Citrix farms and make an informed decision on the migration of the applications and the platform necessary to deliver this.
- Develop and implement Citrix Provisioning Server to speed up server deployment and patching
- Review the security design.
- Install, configure, support and administer Citrix Xenapp 6.5 on Windows 2008 R2.
- Replace/build Servers where appropriate (Physical and/or Virtual).
Essential Experience:
- Citrix certified
- Microsoft certified
- Citrix Xenapp 4.5, Xenapp 5 and Xenapp 6.5
- Citrix Provisioning Server 6.1
- Windows Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
- VMware ESX
