Hatstand is currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to work on an exciting cross-product E-commerce trading and distribution platform, for a prestigious investment bank based in midtown Manhattan, NY.

As part of a global team, you will be responsible for all aspects of incident resolution including impact analysis, root cause identification, escalation, and communication with a range of different business and technical functions. You will also be involved in designing, deploying and administering efficient, highly resilient systems and processes within a large, complex, distributed environment.

The position will suit someone who has a strong technical background within application support. Working in a high volume data flow environment, you will also need to resolve complex software and systems efficiently as well as implementing improvements to resolve performance issues and other potential areas for optimization.

Requirements
*4+ years of technical support experience within financial services IT - within complex, distributed environments.
*Linux/Unix
*Shell Scripting, Perl programming
*Strong understanding of networking, Middleware and messaging technologies, infrastructure and protocols
*Experience of automated application deployments in a highly distributed production environment
*Ability to accommodate periodic on-call and out-of-hours duties
*ITIL experience with a minimum ITIL Foundation qualification
*Experience of working in an Agile development environment
