Description
We are looking for a Storage Administrator for one of our clients
Position Summary:
- Associates should have experience in reviewing multiple storages (EMC/HP/DELL) logs
- Should manage problems of NetApp filers/EMC arrays and SAN Directors/Switches
- The job would include managing various storages, create report, status, Minutes of meetings, follow up with various vendors and customer on pending activities, schedule meetings with the customer and internal teams
- Experienced in LUN provisioning/Replication/Performance tuning
- Facilitate/Involve Technical troubleshooting as per requested tickets/mails to arrays/SAN Switches
- Evaluate and recommend changes and upgrades to our storage environments
Functional/Technical skills
- Should have experience as storage administrator in infrastructure services
- Should have an ability to work with heterogeneous environments
- Should be good in English and French languages (Spoken, written and read)
- Official working language will be English/French
Mandatory requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience as storage administrator for large IT service provider (Total experience can be 4+ years)
- Knowledge of Netapp/EMC/DELL management tools
- Knowledge of CISCO/BROCADE SAN
- Scheduling meetings, publishing Minutes of Meetings and prepare documentation as per requirements
- Experience in handling large development projects technically
- Ability to understand and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals, software specifications, hardware principals of operations and general methods of systems software operations
