Detailed Description of position/roles and responsibilities: Solaris
- Solaris 9, 10, 11
- Containers
- Scripting
- Problem determination
- Configure ILOM/RSA
- Perform Unix server support.
- Trouble-shoot system problems.
- Apply OS patching
- Implement sudo project.
- Build zones.
- Install and trouble-shoot IBM tools on Servers.
- Work with application team such as Oracle, WebSphere, Legato
- Perform OS upgrade.
- Tuning the OS performance
- Evaulate new OS technology and provide recommendation.
- Manage OS build projects.
- Guide the team on enhancing OS skill
- Standardize OS platform.
- Plan and implement OS related DR project.
- Guide the team on WAN boot and live upgrade, Flar
- Automate the processes.
- Perform advanced trouble-shooting skill such as DTrace to OS issues.
