Endeca Senior Developer/Architect, Madrid
Overview
We are currently seeking an Endeca Senior Developer/Architect position in Spain. Candidate must have Endeca design and implementation experience with the ability to produce and manage the technical architecture and design and solutions to solve complex business challenges involving Endeca's Guided Search and Experience Manager products.
Duties will include:
Leading Endeca implementations as a technical lead/architect.
Knowledge of the data extraction, manipulation, and configurations as needed for the Endeca pipeline, using GUI tools, JDBC, Java.
Implementing the appropriate Endeca index configuration, experience manager templates and search interfaces using XML and other tools.
Developing functional aspects of the Endeca application in Java and JSP/JSTL, including any technical documentation deliverables.
Required Skills:
MUST be able to translate business rules and data processing activities into requirements and models suitable for system design and development and work in conjunction with the Endeca product set/roadmap
MUST be experienced in Endeca Integration with any other E-commerce Product/Platform like ATG.
Strong knowledge of webcentric technologies including HTML, AJAX, XML, JavaScript
Experience in Endeca SEO/SEM Module highly desired
Experience with Configuring Endeca for Business Search criteria
Skills to build and maintain MDEX on Endeca platform
Extensive experience developing web applications on a commercial JEE Application Server, direct experience with Weblogic a plus
