For one of our clients, we are looking for a:

Service Delivery/Quality Manager

Job description

  • Assist manager in managing all CIO Partners and vendors to test our software releases. Including off shore and near shore testing centres
  • Use expert knowledge to guide the strategic direction of CIO Delivery team in testing, quality management, and delivery/cost efficiency initiatives
  • Point-of contact for other Corporate groups and Affiliates on all testing related items
  • Assist the manager in delivering and maintaining testing roadmap
  • Definition of service level agreements (SLA'S) related to contracted services.
  • Ensure SLA's are achieved and client expectations are met (or exceeded).
  • To build services relationships with clients.
  • Ensure quality and profitable services are performed to the agreed SLA.
  • To ensure that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to sure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
  • Manage vendor relation to engage in testing and integration projects
  • To provide reports to an agreed schedule (or on request), including management and account performance reports.
  • Attend client service review meetings; areas covered will include performance reports, service improvements, quality and processes.
  • To develop and facilitate workshops and training courses.
  • Find cost and efficiency improvements on test vendor utilization
  • Continuous Improvement plan to support innovation and team throughput
  • Provide support to internal IT delivery teams, and external technology partners, as required to ensure deliveries quality criteria are met and within the allocated budget
  • Can act on behalf of manager TCoE during his absence

Job demands:

Education level: Bachelor degree or equivalent

Value added education:

  • Testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMap, IEEE testing standards)
  • Management skills (interviewing, reporting, financial reporting)
  • Experience with Six Sigma process improvement
  • Knowledge on Test Automation, standardization and Quality management processes
  • Basic knowledge of TMMi model (Test Maturity Model Integration)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a Service Provider environment on testing, test management and test methodologies
  • Minimum of 5 years working in multi-tier international organization
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in client-vendor relationship management
  • Experience with TPI (Test Process Improvement)
  • In depth software quality assurance experience including proven management, supervisory, or leadership experience
  • Experience of coordinating people to complete tasks
  • Experience working within a Matrix-style structure

Extended knowledge in:

  • QA and Testing Methodologies
  • Quality Management Procedures
