Role: Ruby on Rails Developer
Locations: Foothill Ranch, CA
Duration: 6 months +
Description:
Genuent is hiring a Ruby on Rails Developer for our direct client in Foothill Ranch, CA area. This is 3 month contract with a possible extension.
Note: E-commerce experience desired!
- Enterprise level Rails experience for 2+ years
- Implementing/debugging/modifying rake tasks
- Experience with database rake migrations
- Experience with scaffolding modifications
- Ability to work with complex data models
- Experience implementing/debugging/modifying Rails plugins
- Comfortable deploying/running code in a Linux environment
- (can develop on any platform, Linux or Mac preferred)
- Familiar with basic Linux command line commands
- Experience with MySQL
- Comfortable with MySQL from the command line
- Able to write and modify custom queries with complex joins
- Ability to understand complex database structure
- Experience with GIT (subversion ok)
