Description
We are an early stage, customer & UX focused start-up looking for a UI/UX/Visual Designer to work with us on a part time basis on V0 of our web / mobile web product, with the possibility of a longer engagement/full time. Our business is a female-focused social recommendations service. The founders are veterans from difference disciplines: product/UX, engineering and BD/marketing.
We are located in SF SoMA and prefer someone who can meet/work with us regularly, in addition to working from home if they wish.
We are looking for:
- An excellent portfolio of web, mobile web and iOS application design.
- We are looking for your experience building great interfaces, not just great static or "off the shelf" websites.
- An excellent eye for usability and design. You should know great web and iOS UI when you see it, and be able to explain why it's great.
- Obsession with ease of use, simplicity in design- We are about making tasks simpler and easier, not flashier.
- Comfort with HTML/CSS (ability to cut up your own comps and deliver them to our engineers is a plus).
- Someone who shares our aesthetic. Our site and brand aim to feel light, refreshing, soothing, welcoming and friendly.
