This is your chance to secure a fantastic ICTSecurity Officer position with a highly regarded Government Department. In this exciting contract opportunity, you will be responsible for performing risk assessments, providing security architecture support and assisting with the configuration, maintenance and monitoring of ICT Security infrastructure!
Further duties of the role include:
- Providing technical assistance to Technology projects to ensure compliance with Commonwealth and industry best practice;
- Undertaking ICT Security risk assessments on proposed system designs and report on compliance with the PSPF and ISM;
- Configuring, maintaining and monitoring security infrastructure including Firewall policy, content filtering and IDS; and
- Writing documentation including SOP, SSP, SRMP and ICT Security
Experience required:
- Full understanding of Government ICT security compliance requirements and experience in their effective application;
- Demonstrated experience in conducting ICT security technical architecture, assurance reviews and capability to work with clients to identify and implement solutions;
- Demonstrated experience in ICT Security risk assessments;
- Demonstrated experience with technical ICT Security infrastructure including Firewall policy, content filtering and IDS;
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
