Description
Job description- Seismic processing/imaging/velocity model building with a heavy focus on land seismic in the onshore shale gas and oil sand plays
- Manage, conduct and QC internal and external processing and imaging projects
- Interface with interpreters and vendors and make recommendations for prospect maturation and risk reduction via seismic techniques
Qualifications
- Four year college degree
- Five + years of experience in seismic processing and imaging especially prestack depth migration, velocity modelling and migration algorithms
- Preferred:
- Master's degree or higher
- Experience with land pre-processing techniques (noise attenuation, demultiple, and statics) and processing for azimuthal attribute technology
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a full time basis
