Position: Skilled CNC Machinists

The Background:
An aerospace manufacturer based in the North West is looking to recruit several skilled CNC machinists on an initial 12 week contract basis, leading to a permanent role. This is a great opportunity to join this company at an exciting time in their history.
The Role:
As a Skilled CNC Machinist you'll be expected to;
*Work in a target and goal driven environment.
*Take part in problem solving and continuous improvement where required to.
*Maintain machines and equipment by carrying out pre start checks, lubrication and clean down etc.
*Inspect work on a regular basis.
You:
As a skilled CNC machinist you'll ideally come from an Aerospace or Automotive background, you'll have experience using vertical and horizontal machining centres. Experience of Hand on Hand Control and NC milling is essential. Comprehensive knowledge of machines such as Matsura, Olivetti, Guildermeister and Swedeturn, and Control systems such as Fanuc, Moog, Heidenhain would also be advantageous.
Summary:
The successful skilled CNC machinist will have the opportunity to join an aerospace company based in the North West. This role is to work in an extremely successful organisation on a 36 hour week, with an average of 15 hours over time,.
