My Client is looking for a Securtiy Consultant to work on a 6 month project in Brussels and is willing to pay anywhere from euros.
Info on the role:
You will work as a System Engineer in an engineering domain within the Infrastructure Team.
This Infrastructure team covers all IT engineering and operations domains within the European and Asian Operational Companies.
Responsibility area
In order to comply with IT E&A (Europe & Asia) Strategy, manage regional security systems and deliver security systems solutions, you will:
o Contribute to the strategy in your domain.
o Participate to projects realization and coordinate some less complex ones.
o Coordinate the work of external suppliers in your domain in collaboration with your Team leader.
o Be responsible for the day to day administration of the regional systems that are part of your domain taking care of their stability and their performances. This includes also the setup of monitoring tools that will be used by the daily operations team.
o Make sure that questions/problems detected by the different Operational Companies are addressed timely.
o Be Responsible for system security planning. Develop and implement security policies across multiple platforms.
o Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the Delhaize' standards.
o Ensures compliance of IT Security Policies and baselines.
o Provide support in security management and security architect standards and documentations.
o Collaborate with networking services in LAN, WAN and Internet network infrastructure.
o Manage security devices such as Firewall, Proxy Server, VPN, mail relay, encryption, PKI
o Provide support for vulnerability management and discover vulnerabilities in information systems
o Provide technical support and consultation for enhancement to network security configuration standards
o Perform L3 support
o Develop innovative solutions for IT network security4
For this function, you will directly report to your Team Leader.
Profile
Education and degrees:
You own a Bachelor degree and have at least 5 to 10 years of professional experience as Security System engineer.
Knowledge and technical skills:
o You are considered as a real expert in security and related domain.
o You show excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, Firewalls (Checkpoint and Juniper), IPSEC and SSL VPN's, Bluecoat, F5.
o You have good knowledge on the following products: Barracuda, Intrusion Detection, Strong authentication.
o You are familiar with the concepts of Content Networking, remote Access, PKI, Radius, 802.1x
o Basic Unix knowledge is an asset.
o You are fluent in French, Dutch and English.
Conditions regarding experience:
o Experience of work in an international environment and/or within a large company is a plus.
o Experience in project management is the icing on the cake.
