Description
As part of our technical team, the Motion Graphics Designer will develop, program, implement and maintain graphical elements (still and motion) used in video animations, mobile applications and web applications. Your work includes requirements analysis, storyboarding, design, programming, computer graphics, editing and integration into various platforms.
*Work closely with developers to Design and implement UI concepts into either application prototypes, fully functional demo apps, as well as market ready mobile applications.
*Consult directly with clients to ascertain their expectations of the project, receive their interest and feedback for the design direction, in addition to offering design suggestions for a successful User Experience.
*Contribute towards the R&D efforts of Next Generation application development for Mobile and Web technologies - including Augmented Reality, HTML5, and WebGL.
Must have Skills: UX/UI Design, Mobile Applications, Interface Architecture, Animation, Motion Graphics, Interaction Design, Web Design, 3D Modeling/Animation, HTML/XHTML, PHP, CSS, XML, ActionScript, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
*Must have experience using Python programming to enhance tools and Computer Graphic (CG) pipelines.
*Requires creativity and the ability to use computer graphic design, movie production and animation tools and software, as well as computer programming skills such as HTML and action Scripting.
*Thorough knowledge of current animation software tools, such as Maya, Anime Studio, Adobe creative suite, Lightwave, and Softimage; ability to assess and recommend new tools as they come to market.
*Must have basic artistic skills: drawing, modelling, and understanding of layout, lighting, composition, color theory, character motion, textures, set design, 2D and 3D techniques, special effects.
*Excellent knowledge of the desktop computing environment, both MacOS and Windows, as well as MS Office (PowerPoint in particular).
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Must pay attention to detail.
*Must be able to work with users of different technical skill levels.
