Description
A top tier global financial institution based in the Sydney CBD requires a Senior Platform Engineer to join on a 6 month rolling contract. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to join an existing team of Senior Platform Engineers all a Subject Matter Expert in their particular field. This is a technology facing role and although there will be a mix of Project and BAU work, there will be no day to day operational work like tape changing. The successful applicant will join as the senior SME for Active Directory and Exchange.
Key Requirements
* Project work including a migration from Exchange 2007 - Exchange 2010
* BAU work in a large enterprise Wintel environment
* Key performance tuning
* To be the infrastructure technical component for project delivery
* A range of small and varied projects such as application upgrades and data centre consolidations as well as larger projects as they are required
* Life cycle implementations
Key Skills
* Extensive Active Directory experience
* Extensive Exchange experience
* Broad experience across Wintel technologies
* Strong Citrix skills - desirable
* Strong Scripting skills - desirable
* Experience with HP Servers - desirable
* Excellent communication skills
Key Experience
* 5+ years experience in enterprise environments
* Experience migrating from Exchange 07 to Exchange 2010 is highly desirable
* Ability to hit the ground running is essential
* Strong experience in both a project and BAU
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
