Description
Our client a leading investment bank is actively resourcing for a credit manager with specific experience in energy to manage a credit risk portfolio and to play a key role in developing future areas of focus regarding appetite to risk and to embed new ways of working within the credit risk arena.
Role responsibilities:
*Undertake the financial analysis including modelling and sensitivity analysis for a distinct portfolio.
*Support credit analysts and credit managers
*Exercise sound credit judgement, prepare credit proposals and recommend for sanctioning
*Build foster relationships with external parties
*Proactively manage and monitor the portfolio by reviewing customer MI
*Advise Front Office on structuring lending
Skills and experiences:
*Experience in the banking sector and credit risk
*Good knowledge of financial accountancy and modelling techniques
*Exercised delegated credit authority
*Strong analytical background which can be applied to counterparty analysis
*Experience of leading client due diligence
*Strong working knowledge of credit grading
