EMC, Senior, Test, Wireless, report, engineerI am looking for a senior EMC test engineer to start an initial 6 month contract (permanent and contract to permanent considered) based in Basingstoke.
Role and Scope:
The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for performing chargeable work through testing and report writing, training and assessing new engineers and assisting in the development of new technical services for the company.
The Senior Engineer will have an excellent level of technical expertise in EMC and RF, have a sound track record and can be trusted with handling complex technical duties under tight time constraints.
Responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage technical activities as delegated by the Wise Project Lead
- To undertake job planning and test plan preparation
- To assist in ensuring that the work proposed by the Sales Department is technically and logistically achievable
- To ensure that the test Group maintains the necessary quality standards at all times
- To ensure that the Company's testing/compliance activities comply with UKAS and the law
- To keep test procedures up to date and produce new procedures as necessary
- To undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required.
Any other duties as defined in the Staff Handbook and the Quality Control Manual
Work Experience:
More than 3 years working in an EMC environment.
Worked in the EMC testing of complex electronic products, with knowledge and practical experience of performing EMC testing.
