Description
For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer IDE Workplace.
Deliverables:
The system engineer position is participating in creating the new workplace design for the SDEV department and to implement and configure the chosen design. The main task is to take care of installing, configuring and tuning the new desktop.
Specials:
- Bachelor level or equivalent, combination of education and experience Red Hat RHCSA or RHCE is a pre.
Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Linux specialist on senior level. Industry experience with server & desktop virtualization. A background in several of the following at a system engineer level:
- Virtualization techniques (VDI and Hypervisors)
- Server (Linux and Unix)
- Desktop (Linux OS, Windows OS, Software and Tool deployment)
- Knowledge of Red Hat Network Satellite
- Knowledge of Exceed on Demand as a VDI broker
- Base knowledge of storage and networking
- Workplace security
- Unix and/or Linux system administration, Scripting (Perl, Shell).
- Experiences within a software development environment.
