My client is based in Dublin and is looking for a Senior Operations Engineer

the present and capacity planning for the future

What you need to have:

- Expert level Linux systems administration experience, preferably with

(such as Apache, nginx, Varnish, Bind, PowerDNS, OpenSSH, OpenLDAP,

What they would love to see:

- 5+ years experience in a high-availability data center environment for serving
large web services, along with related software such as LVS and HAProxy

least a strong appreciation of the need for them and willingness to learn)

(e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB), along with related caching software (e.g., memcached, Redis)
- Virtualization experience, preferably with Xen or OpenVZ (Amazon AWS experience a plus)
- Experience using bug tracking/version control tools like Trac, Subversion, and Git
- Involvement in the Open Source community (code writing, patch submission, bug reporting, etc)

They are considering candidates right away, so please do not hesitate to send me
an up to date CV in Word format, and / or call me Valerie Heatley on .
